Ikebukuro's Hotel Metropolitan is hosting a Tropical Sweets Buffet over two weekends in June (5th/6th, and 12th/13th), which also incorporates a number of desserts that are Suica Penguin themed. There will be offerings like mango tarts, mango Mont Blancs, a Suica Penguin themed coffee jelly with orange cream, and a Suica Penguin passionfruit and white chocolate ganache macaron.

Pricing for the sweets buffet is ¥ 5,500 for adults, ¥ 3,000 for elementary school students, and ¥ 1,300 for children between 4 and 6 years of age. Reservations can be made via the official hotel website.

The Hotel Metropolitan is located just 1 minute on foot from the Metropolitan Exit of JR Ikebukuro Station, or three minutes on foot from the south exit.

For those who opt to drive, the hotel is around five minutes away from the Nishi-Ikebukuro Interchange. On-site parking is available, and is free for up to three hours for those dining at the premises.
