The Tsukishima district in Tokyo is famous for its Monja-yaki, a similar version of Osaka's and Hirsohima's delicious Okonomiyaki. As with many signature dish districts in Japan, the street is lined with dozens of specialty restaurants all claiming to serve the best Monja-yaki, so you won't need to search too hard to find this delicious treat.

Tsukishima Monja-yaki
A similarily named, but different style of Okonomiyaki.

My favorite, curry with mochi Monja-yaki

Monja-yaki before it hits the hot plate

Sizzling away

If you're not sure on how to cook, ask a staff member who will happily show you!

If this doesn't get your mouth watering i don't know what will!

Enoki appetizer

My hot tip: Wait till the bottom starts to burn a little!

No shortages of Monja-yaki restaurants on this street!

I recommend a little nori (seaweed) and chili pepper.
