Yuta Okuda Exhibition: With Gratitude 2021

An art event at Shibuya's Elephant Studio

Venue: Elephant Studio, Shibuya When: Jun 6th - Jun 12th 2021

In June, Shibuya's Elephant Studio is hosting a week-long exhibition of works from Aichi-born artist Yuta Okuda (1987 -). The theme of the event is "With Gratitude", and many of the pieces to be displayed take on a floral theme. Okuda noted that flowers were something he once took for granted, but that is no longer the case - hence the inspiration for the exhibition's title.

The event admission fee is by donation, and the suggested minimum is 500 yen. The proceeds from events held here all go to supporting the young artists themselves, so if you can spare a little extra, go for it!

Getting there

Shibuya's Elephant Studio is located around 10 minutes on foot from Shibuya Station's Hachiko Exit. The station is served by various lines including the JR Yamanote Line, the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Fukutoshin lines, and the Keio Inokashira Line.

The venue is around the same distance on foot from the B1 exit of Omotesando Station, served by the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Chiyoda, and Hanzomon lines.
