223 Fujisan Festival 2026

Music, food, and activities with a stunning backdrop

When
Feb 21st - Mar 1st 2026

February 23rd is Mount Fuji Day, and the Fujikyu Group is celebrating with the 223 (Fujisan) Festival. This year is extra special, as it marks the 100th anniversary of Fujikyu Railway. The festival takes place at Fuji-Q Highland Central Park and offers music, food, and activities set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji.

On the main day, Monday, February 23rd, visitors can enjoy live performances by Sonar Pocket and singer-songwriter Kanau Matsumura, each performing twice during the morning and afternoon. After sunset, a laser and bubble show lights up the square. Rainbow-colored lights, soap bubbles, and an artificial aurora dance across the night sky, creating a photogenic experience with Mount Fuji in the background.

Festival-goers can also try Mount Fuji–inspired treats developed with local TV announcers, including Mt. Fuji Bread, icing cookies, and popcorn. There are food and activity booths where you can taste six types of Japanese tea, warm up with pork soup, roast marshmallows, chop firewood, and play ring toss with eco-friendly wooden toys. Thrill-seekers can experience the reverse bungee, perfect for sky-high photos with Mount Fuji behind you, or check out the amphibious KABA Bus.
