Carousel in the Forest

Beautiful merry-go-round at Moegi-no-mura

This  wild maned steed is rearing to go

Long before I stumbled across the carousel I found this horse in the garden

The carousel in the forest

These horses seem built for speed

A bear and a hare prance side by side

The goat has a gorgeous saddle

Next to the carousel are forest paths

The soft-cream shop

Following the path through the forest, we met an escaping carousel horse

The fairy tale village of Moegi-no-mura is surrounded by beautiful forest. On the edge of the village stands a carousel like something made for a fairy tale. Like ordinary carousels it has horses, but it also has a chicken, a hare, a bear and a goat. The carousel in the forest made me wish I was a child again so I could ride one of the galloping animals. I made do with an ice-cream from the nearby ice-cream shop.
