Huis Ten Bosch has been selected as the #1 Illumination Spot in Japan for three consecutive years, and I just wondered... how awesome could the illumination of Huis Ten Bosch be?
To answer this question, I went to see it during this New Year holiday. In this winter season (October to April), the illumination titled, "Kingdom of Flowers & Lights" was on, and that's what I saw. The main attraction of this illumination is the 66 meters high "Waterfall of Light". You just have to see it to believe how beautiful it is. I bet you will be mesmerized by the magic that 13 million LED lights cast at Huis Ten Bosch!

Totally agree with the previous commentator! If there was no description below, I wouldn't believe that this place is in Japan :) And the photos are so great, I can't even imagine how beautiful it is in reality!

Thank you Yuliya! My photos don't do justice to the reality. You should come see it with your own eyes!

I've visited Europe, England and the USA, and I can tell now that I prefer Japan! I feel at home and in peace being in Japan. I've met good people but they work hard and don't have time for friendship, but I hope to make friends in Japan some day... :)

I'm glad that you love Japan so much Elena. I guess you might want to visit countryside in Japan if you'd like to make friends, people in big cities are always busy and less warmer, don't you think?!?

Yes, I noticed that! :) People in Tokyo are always in a hurry and think that I can see "everything" in Tokyo, why to travel far away?! ))) But I like to travel and I prefer smaller towns and nature. I liked Nagano Prefecture very much. I visited Yudanaka, Azumino, Matsumoto, Narai and few more places there.
