Seto and Mino Pottery Exhibition

A special event at Aichi's Yokoyama Museum

Venue: Yokoyama Museum, Aichi When: Mar 13th - Jun 13th 2021

A special exhibition taking place at Aichi's Yokoyama Museum looks at a wide range of Seto ware and Mino ware, two types of pottery that have over a thousand years of history in Japan. Along with showcasing these traditional ceramic pieces, there will also be additional supporting events including lectures from the museum's curator and a pottery painting session. More information about those additional programs can be found on the official website.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen.

Getting there

Aichi's Yokoyama Museum is located around 4 minutes on foot from either Shinsakaemachi Station (Exit 1), served by the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Higashiyama Line, or Takaoka Station (Exit 3), served by the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Sakuradori Line.

For those who opt to drive to the museum, do note that there is no dedicated parking lot on site. However, there are numerous paid parking lots in the surrounding streets.
