Miffy, the iconic rabbit character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, celebrated its 65th anniversary last year. A special exhibition taking place at the Fukui City Art Museum will explore all things Miffy, with around 300 original drawings, sketches, and creative memos on display.

For those wanting to pick up a souvenir from their visit, there will also be a wide variety of event-exclusive merchandise available to purchase, including stuffed toys and figurines.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1100 yen.

Getting there

The Fukui City Art Museum is located around 20 minutes on foot from Rokujō Station, served by the Hokuriku Main Line. Alternatively, numerous buses from the JR Fukui Station head in the direction of the museum.

For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 10 minutes from the Fukui IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. There is a parking lot attached to Geba Central Park which offers free parking for up to 250 vehicles.
