In early April, I visited a small river in Sabae City where I could see carp streamers, cherry blossoms and pretty daffodils all at once. On my way back home, I stopped by at the vast fields of mustard flowers in the middle of nowhere. They were surrounded by untainted nature and so beautiful. When I was looking around in the yellow fields, I spotted a bunch of pink color in the far distance. They were cherry blossoms! As a certified Sakura hunter, of course I chased after them without knowing where I was heading. When I arrived, they were inside a some kind of park, but there was no sign or anything to indicate what it was. I decided it was a free park only for me, and enjoyed my tranquil stay under the beautiful cherry trees!

A green open space surrounded by pink cherry trees in full bloom

Cherry blossoms in the park viewed from a nearby riverbank

Pretty in pink, they were fully blooming!

Somewhat sad view of the riverbank on a cloudy day

Looking down at beautiful cherry trees from the riverbank

My car parked alone in the spacious green park decorated with beautiful cherry blossoms. They were all mine!

Blurry rows of cherry tree boughs

They say when the center of cherry blossom turns dark pink, it's about to fall off a tree. The days of their beauty were numbered!

Wheel tracks on a green lawn inside the park, it looked like someone was there before me.
