I did not know it then, but it seems that I have stumbled upon one of the oldest cafés in Takayama City. Established in 1951, Coffee Don boosts a cosy environment with cheerful jazz music that delights! An English menu was presented upon request and I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of coffee that the café offers. Besides drinks, the choices of delectable cakes and snacks make this a relaxing space for one to spend an idyllic afternoon.
