Picasso: The Blue Period and Beyond

A limited-time event at the Hiroshima Museum of Art

Venue: Hiroshima Museum of Art When: Feb 4th - May 28th 2023

Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso left an indelible mark on the Cubist and Surrealist artistic movements. A special exhibition at the Hiroshima Museum of Art will specifically explore Picasso's "blue period", which was the timeframe around 1900 to 1904 where he painted almost entirely in shades of blue.

Around 70 works will be on display at the event, with items from both the museum's own collection and pieces on loan from the Pola Museum of Art in Kanagawa.

Adult admission to the event is priced at ¥1800.
