Throughout the month of June, The Westin Rusutsu Resort in Hokkaido is hosting an afternoon tea event that creatively uses local dairy products in the sweet treats on offer. Some of the menu items available to choose from include a cream cheese and apricot shortcake, a cottage cheese and lemon roll cake, and a cream cheese panna cotta topped with orange and pomegranate.
The afternoon tea event is priced at 2000 yen per head, and there is an added incentive to stop by if you're in the area - afternoon tea guests can also use the on-site onsen free of charge. Reservations can be made in advance by visiting the hotel's website here.
