Summer Garden Fest 2021

Enjoy the beauty of the season at the Kobe Herb Gardens

Venue: Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens When: Jul 17th - Aug 31st 2021

From July 17th until August 31st, the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens will host their Summer Garden Fest, a seasonal event with a variety of different activities for visitors to enjoy. There will be fields of sunflowers in bloom, a mist garden to cool off in, evening illuminations, and drinks that incorporate mint and edible flowers grown on-site at the terrace bar.

Families with children don't miss out either -- there are several activities that are designed with kids in mind at the event. From creating their own cosmos seed mud "dumplings" to plant at home, to exploring the grounds on a herb treasure hunt, there's plenty to interest the little ones.

Getting there

The Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens can be accessed via the Shin-Kobe Ropeway, a short distance from Shin-Kobe Station.

For those who opt to drive, do note that there is no dedicated parking lot on-site. Visitors are advised to park at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kobe or other parking lots in the surrounding area.

Same here, I am a fan of sunflower too. I think it would be nice to see it directly to the garden. How I miss traveling Japan.

This is very nice garden! I visited it in spring, but I bet it has different flowers every season. If to walk downhill, there is wonderful waterfall on the foot of a rock. Really worth to visit!
