A special exhibition taking place at Kanagawa's Sogo Museum of Art looks at a variety of Western paintings by Japanese artists from the Hiroshima Museum of Art's collection. Around 70 works in total will be displayed at the event, including pieces like Shikanosuke Oka's "Snow Cover" (1935) and Kuroda Seiki's "Western Women Wearing a White Kimono" (1892).
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen, and no advance reservations are required.
The Sogo Museum of Art is part of the Sogo Yokohama department store. It can be accessed in just three minutes on foot from Yokohama Station, which is served by a variety of lines including the Tokaido Main Line, the Yokohama Line, and the Yokosuka Line.
For those who plan to drive to the venue, there is paid parking available at the Sogo Parking Building. The building can accommodate up to 2500 vehicles, and parking is charged at 340 yen for every 30 minute increment.
