New Collection Exhibition 2020-2021

An event at the Hiratsuka Museum of Art

A special event taking place at the Hiratsuka Museum of Art looks at 75 works which were newly added to their collection in 2019, including a donation of 62 paintings from the Kokusai Kogyo corporation. Other works that will be showcased at the exhibition include oil paintings by Yoshio Izumiya who is a professor at the Osaka University of Arts, and three-dimensional works by Yasuko Tsuchida.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 200 yen.

Getting there

The Hiratsuka Museum of Art is located approximately 15 minutes on foot (or a five minute taxi ride) from Hiratsuka Station, served by the Tokaido Main Line. Buses are also available from the station - take the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus and there's a dedicated stop for the museum.
