Xmas Illuminations in Yokohama

Enjoy these wonderful Christmas trees in Minato Mirai

By Tomoko Kamishima   Dec 16, 2014 - 1 min read

In December, Minato Mirai 21 district celebrates the Christmas holidays by decorating all its buildings. The night view of this area is always gorgeous, but particularly so this time of the year. The big three Christmas trees in Minato Mirai are at Queen’s Tower C, World Porters, and Landmark Plaza.

This video is a quick guide for a walking tour of the three beautiful Christmas trees, as well as other Christmas illuminations in Minato Mirai.

Japan is a small island nation, but we have a huge number of surprising things to discover here. Many of these delights can be found when you step off the main street onto small side paths. I really enjoy studying about and researching various aspects of traditional Japanese culture, and then sharing this information with visitors to Japan. I hope you will enjoy it, too! ARTICLE INDEX & PHOTOS:  An index of most of my Japan Travel articles can be found at the entry page of my blog, and my photos are shown here.

Thank you! Yes, I had a great time! There was a Christmas Market taking place at 赤レンガ倉庫, and they also made a fireworks display! It made me like even more Yokohama :)
