Ah, Spring – when the flowers bloom and the sun comes out to play. At the Yamate Italian Garden there are beautiful flowerbeds to admire and also the European-style house that is the Diplomat’s house. During the Meiji Era, this land area was the former Italian Consulate and the Diplomat’s house has a view that overlooks Yokohama. You can also visit the Bluff 18 Ban-kan house, which is just nearby. It is a very popular place for both tourist and the locals to visit.
Admission is free and it is only a five minute uphill walk from the Ishikawacho Station’s south exit via JR Negishi Line.

Great! It resembles Kyu-Furukawa Garden but there you have to pay the admission fee and buy a drink to get into the building.
