A special exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Kyoto will look at the work of Pipilotti Rist (1962-), a Swiss visual artist known for her experimental video art and installation art. The event will showcase around 40 works which cover themes including the human body, women, nature, and ecology.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen, and no advance reservations are required.
The Museum of Modern Art Kyoto (also known as MoMAK) can be conveniently accessed via bus from Kyoto Station. Take the Kyoto City Bus No. 5 (toward Ginkakuji Temple Via Heian-jingu Shrine), and alight at the “Okazaki Koen/Bijutsukan, Heian Jingu-mae” stop.
