Sake holds a special place in Japan's cultural, social, and culinary landscape, and the Sake World Summit in Kyoto brings 65 breweries from across the country to the Miyako Messe Convention Center. It's billed as one of the largest sake-related events in the Kansai region, and attendees will be able to compare and contrast different brews to establish their favorites.
Along with the wide variety of sake types to try, there will be various food vendors offering eats that pair well with the brews on offer.
This is a ticketed event, with tickets priced at 3900 JPY in advance or 4200 JPY on the day. Advance tickets can be arranged online here.
