From June 26th until July 25th, Niigata's Bandai City Park will be hosting a Horumon Festival. For the unaware, the term "horumon" refers to the parts of an animal which are typically discarded, such as intestines and hearts.
The event will have a variety of horumon types on offer, including wagyu beef horumon sets. There is also the option to add a 90 minute all-you-can-drink component onto any of the meal sets for 1500 yen.
Niigata's Bandai City Park is located around 10 minutes on foot from the JR Niigata Station's Bandai Exit. The station is served by the Joetsu Shinkansen, the Shinetsu Main Line, the Hakushin Line, and the Echigo Line.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is just under 20 minutes from the Niigata Chuo IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. There are numerous parking lots in the surrounding area, and details about their locations can be found on the official Bandai City Park site here.
