A special event taking place at the Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art looks at the works of Niigata-born Shigeko Kubota (1937 - 2015), a visual artist who was known predominantly for her video sculpture works. Regarded as a pioneer of this art form, this event will be the first large-scale exhibition of her works since her passing, with video sculptures, sketches, archive materials, and more on display.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen.
