180th Anniversary Renoir Exhibition 2021

A special event at Osaka's Sanno Museum

Venue: Sanno Museum, Osaka When: Mar 4th - Jul 31st 2021

A special exhibition taking place at Osaka's Sanno Museum looks at the works of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841 - 1919), a French painter who was revered for his Impressionist style pieces. His art didn't just fit one theme, either - he painted portraits, landscapes, flowers, still lifes, nudes, and more.

The event will showcase 39 of Renoir's diverse works, and will also serve to commemorate the 180th anniversary of his birth.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen.

Getting there

Osaka's Sanno Museum is located just a minute on foot from the JR Namba Station, which is served by the Kansai Main Line. Alternatively, if you're arriving into Namba Station via subway (Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line), the museum is directly connected to exit 30 of the north ticket gate.

For those who opt to drive, the closest expressway exit is the Minatomachi IC on the Hanshin Expressway. Parking is available on-site.
