Hattori Ryokuchi Park is most famous for its Open Air Museum of Old Japanese Farmhouses. These Japanese farmhouses are acquisitions from different parts of Japan, removed from their original sites and rebuilt in order to form this historical museum about rural architecture.
But apart from that important element of the park, Hattori Ryokuchi is a large sloping area in Osaka that is used freely by Osakans as a spot for various activities. Aside from its hailed museum, the park has its own playground, bamboo and pine forest, ponds, botanical gardens, recreational sports areas, concert hall, and a flower garden.
