Osaka Hikari-Renaissance is an annual illumination event held in Nakanoshima, Osaka. This year, the event will be held from December 14th to 25th. The theme of the event changes annually.
In this photo story, I'd like to introduce the impressive illuminations I saw in 2012. Especially, the illuminated entrance wall of the neo-baroque Nakanoshima Library and the open space in front of it, which was transformed into a Noh stage for the occasion, were absolutely spectacular.
