Established in 1944, this classic steam locomotive started to serve passengers around the Tohoku area. Now, the Paleo Express still operates its classic route from Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. You can start your journey in any station between Kumagaya Station and Mitsumine-guchi Station. Along this 57km route, you'll be amazed by the majestic view of the mountainous landscapes, across beautiful rivers, and witness the locals at work.
