At 6 p.m. the shopping street also decided to take a holiday

Tokyo experiences snowfall for not more than 3-4 times a winter season. A blanket of snow in the metropolis makes for pretty pictures, but grinds the traffic to a halt even with 5 cm of pileup. Unique 'snow make-up' (loosely translated from the Japanese word "yuki-keshou") offers rare views of the city. Asakusa, a popular tourist destination, is pictured in a rare snow pileup mode.

It's so nice seeing Asakusa at winter. All covered with snow, especially the temple!

Asakusa for me is like a wonderland. I had no chanche to see it in snow but thanks to you i can tell that it is wonderful in the winter season as well. It is one of the most inspiring place in Japan.
