JO1 is a Japanese boyband which was formed via a reality TV show, and just 11 contestants were chosen from a pool of around 6000 initial entrants. A special exhibition taking place at Tokyo's Gallery AaMo will explore the band's history via costume displays, photos, video footage, and more.

Admission to the exhibition is priced at ¥ 1300, and for the first three days (December 25th - 27th) entrance is via a lottery system only. From December 28th onwards, access opens up to the general public. The lottery system website can be accessed here and entries can be made from October 12th until October 18th.

Getting there

Gallery AaMo can be accessed within two minutes on foot from Suidobashi Station, which is served by the JR Chuo Line and the Toei Mita Line.

For those who opt to drive, parking is available at Tokyo Dome City. More information about the different lots and their rates can be found on the official website here.

I was much surprised with the lottery system in J-POP! To get a ticket to a concert I had to join the fan club for 5000 yen, then pay for a ticket and wait if I'd win! Luckily, I won both times. Also it was really strange to see all-girls' public. It's very different.
