Manhattan Records is an independent record store in Shibuya. The store stocks mostly hip hop, reggae, R&B and house music. They sell vinyl as well as some DJ-related gear. Walking into the store is quite an experience as they pump out some ear throbbing music while you browse the shelves. Asides from Manhattan Records, the area surrounding the shop is quite interesting too. There are a few other small vinyl shops as well as a vegan restaurant, and the shop is on the same road as the Tokyu Hands Department Store It is definitely an area worth exploring, slightly removed from the more polished side of Shibuya.
