From September 3rd until October 10th, Ginza's Pola Museum of Art Annex will be hosting an exhibition of works from Moe Nakamura (1988 - ). Nakamura's unique sculptures are made from carving camphor tree logs and then using oil paints to create whimsical characters out of them. After participating in a number of group exhibitions both here in Japan and abroad, this will be Nakamura's first large-scale solo exhibition.
Around 20 different wood carvings and a collection of other 2D works will be on display at the event, which is free of charge to attend.
