QUEEN 50th Anniversary Exhibition 2021-2022

Don't Stop Me Now

Venue: Movida Hall, 21-1 Udagawachō, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0042, Japan When: Nov 12th - Feb 13th 2022

Originally fronted by the iconic Freddie Mercury, the band Queen was formed in 1971 and has remained in public consciousness ever since. Classic hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, and Under Pressure still receive radio play to this day, and the band's music even inspired the globally successful We Will Rock You musical.

A special exhibition taking place at the Seibu Shibuya Movida Hall will celebrate 50 years since the band's formation with a variety of unpublished photographs, valuable videos, musical instruments, and more on display.

Advance tickets for the event will be available to purchase online from October 12th. Do note that prices are slightly higher on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays than they are on weekdays.

Getting there

The Seibu Shibuya Movida Hall is located just a minute on foot from Shibuya Station. The station is served by numerous lines, including the JR Yamanote Line, the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Fukutoshin Lines, and the Keio Inokashira Line.

Ah, I'd love to visit this exhibition! For a long time I was big fan of Queen and particularly Freddie! Already the 50-th anniversary...

I watched it, too, but in London! It was a premiere! But, nobody could be better than Freddie! :)
