Tamaki Yura Photographic Exhibition

A week-long event at the Sirius Aidem Photo Gallery

Venue: Sirius Aidem Photo Gallery, Shinjuku When: Sep 9th - Sep 15th 2021

From September 9th until September 15th, Shinjuku's Sirius Aidem Photo Gallery will host a week-long exhibition of works from Tamaki Yura. Born in Nagano in 1972, Yura graduated from Tokyo Zokei University's Department of Design in 1996 and has been active in the photography industry ever since.

Approximately 40 monochrome photographs will be on display at the event, focusing on four specific locations of the world — Paris, Havana, Nepal, and Osaka. Yura speaks of relying on invisible signs like sounds, smells, and skin sensations when it came to taking photos in these destinations.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
