Who is Banksy? 2021

A special exhibition taking place in Tokyo

Venue: Warehouse Terrada Building, Shinagawa When: Aug 21st - Dec 5th 2021

Famous despite being anonymous, the street artist Banksy is known for a trademark stenciling technique and works that often have political or societal themes. The special exhibition titled "Who is Banksy?" was originally scheduled to take place in Tokyo during 2020, but the event was pushed back to 2021 as a result of the novel coronavirus.

Whilst there will be works on display at the event, the focus will center on the enigma that has been created through them.

After the Tokyo exhibition, the event is scheduled to take place in Nagoya, Osaka, and Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture.

Getting there

The "Who is Banksy?" Exhibition will take place at Shinagawa's Warehouse Terrada G1 Building.

The venue is located around 4 minutes walk from Exit B of Tennozu Isle Station on the Rinkai Line, or a 5 minute walk from the south exit of the same station via the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line.
