The expression “YY,” means liveliness. Indeed, being one of the main restaurants of RISONARE Yatsugatake, it serves buffet-style breakfast or lunch for its hotel guests and is usually bustling through the day. The crowds do not compromise the standards for the food and service at YY grill, however. I found myself spoiled for choice at YY grill and leaving completely satisfied each time. Dinner at YY grill comes with a buffet-style appetizer bar, one grilled main dish, a choice of wine, and a dessert. YY Grill is extremely family-friendly; there is something for every palate here!

YY Grill in RISONARE Yatsugatake
Buffet-style meals with delicious grill

YY grill is the main restaurant serving breakfast or lunch to the guests of RISONARE Yatsugatake, so it has a large seating capacity and is bustling through the day.
The ingredients of the food served come from the farms in the region, ensuring its unbeatable freshness!
Delicately created appetizers of the appetizers bar for the dinner menu.
Mozarella cheese and tomato, a true Italian flavour!
My choice of grill for dinner was Grilled Salmon. Juicy and succulent flesh and crispy skin complemented with vegetables by the side. Delicious!
My favourite dessert on the dinner menu, a sweet, delicious strawberry mousse.
The breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning during my stay. There was a wide selection of cuisines from traditional Japanese to international foods.
For the international taste buds, the usual "western" breakfast options like sausages, hash brown, bacon, and omelette are available.
I never miss the bread section as there are so many flavours to try each time!
I was delighted to try the Houtou noodles special to the Yamanashi region, available at the breakfast buffet.
