Osensui Park is a pretty, small park located between 'Yokokan Villa and Garden' and 'Fukui City History Museum'. Actually, until I visited Yokokan Garden the other day I didn't know there was such a park in this area. This part of Fukui city, Hoei-cho, appears to be a historical town, and the streets around Yokokan Garden, the park and the museum are called 'History Avenue', aka, 'Samurai Street'. As the park is on the way to the museum from the garden, or vice versa, it's a good idea to leisurely stroll in the park before going to the museum rather than walking on the concrete street to get there!

Green and red leaves are in abundance inside Osensui Park
The sign says, "On the night of July 19, 1945, Fukui city was air-raided by the US Air Force, and damaged badly. But it wasn't only humans who were affected, but trees were burnt down as well. This pine tree was also damaged, but miraculously survived and still stands on this soil"
This is the miraculous formidable pine tree!
Peeping at the windows of Fukui City History Museum through the trees. You can see the white crest of the Fukui Matsudaira Clan printed on a blue Japanese curtain
