By Sarah Endarastya    - 1 min read

Hokkai Bon Odori simply means Hokkaidō Bon Dance, a traditional and merry Japanese festival that is celebrated with dance and lively drum performances to welcome the homecoming of ancestral spirits. Each region has a local dance, as well as different music. Both children and adults, locals and tourists can participate in this event held at the Odori Park, Sapporo.

For a place to stay in the area, Odori Park is located less than 10 minutes from Art Hotels Sapporo. The subway station Nakajimakoen Station is located within walking distance to the hotel.
