The TeamLab collective needs no introduction – they're renowned for some incredible digital displays such as TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, which allow visitors to explore art through light, sound, texture, and touch. An upcoming event at Ibaraki's Yuki Information and Communication Center brings the digital art concept to the younger crew, allowing kids to explore and create through play.
For instance, the Sketch Aquarium encourages visitors to draw a sea creature of their choice, which is then scanned and projected onto a giant virtual aquarium. The Light Ball Orchestra includes a variety of balls which change color when touched, and they also emit sound for a fun multi-sensory experience.
