If you're a ramen fan, the Hokuriku Ramen Expo is an event you shouldn't miss. The four-day expo brings a dozen popular ramen shops from across the country to Ishikawa's capital of Kanazawa, and visitors can compare and contrast their favorite types of this much-loved dish.
Each of the ramen types on offer will be priced at 1000 JPY on the day, or a slightly cheaper 900 JPY with advance tickets. Those advance tickets can be arranged via 7-11 convenience stores all the way from October 21st until November 25th, and the ticket code is 103-305.
The event takes place at the Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall # 4, which can be accessed in around 30 minutes by bus from Kanazawa Station (Bus no. 56, Seibu Ryokuchi Koen Line). The station is served by numerous lines, including the Hokuriku Shinkansen and the Hokuriku Main Line.
For those who opt to drive, on-site parking is available for over 3000 vehicles.
