I used to live near this small shrine at the foot of the mountains, and I visited it often because it was the starting point of a hiking trail up to Higashiyama Driveway and Shogunzuka. Although there is nothing particularly impressive about it, I always found something worth photographing every time I went there. These photos were taken in summer.
