In order to prevent trouble or crimes resulting from usage of mobile phones, Fussa Police Station is holding a Smartphone Safety Class on Saturday March 5th at 2:00 pm, at the 3rd floor lecture hall of the local Community Center.
There have been several incidents recently such as bullying, or worse, swindling and other forms of coercion, most of the victims being young people. The aim of the lecture is to empower and educate not just youth, but everyone who owns a mobile phone, for their own safety and protection.
The lecture will be free of charge and reservation is not necessary, but they can only accommodate the first 180 participants. For more information, you may visit Hamura City Hall at 5-2-1 Midorigaoka or contact the Citizen’s Group Center (Chiiki Shinkou, Shimin Katsudou Center) at extension 632.
