If you find yourself lost or tired in the famous Makishi Public Market of the Kokusai Dori street in Naha, Okinawa, head for a relaxing break at the Chatan Coffee Cafe. This lovely cafe will offer you the chance to experience real Okinawan coffee beans that are roasted in Chatan. You will be greeted by the friendly owner, Katsuaki, who will explain to you how he roasts and grinds the beans. The staff are very friendly, speak English and have an English menu available too. Make sure to try the coffee shakes as they are delicious! If you fall in love with the coffee, you can purchase roasted beans from the cafe too. Other than coffee, you can have a choice of shakes, tea and sweets surrounded by a very positive environment.
