Located an easy walk from Shinsaibashi Station in Osaka, Mo Tattoo has been making some of the most awesome tattoos since 2002. In his studio, Mo Asada uses the latest and hygienic tools to create art for his clients. After looking at various tattoo studios for what felt like weeks, I decided on Mo Tattoo for his use of colors and striking line work. I wasn't disappointed by the amazing quality of his work.
Mo created a space that was comfortable and entertaining while he worked on my tattoo over a three-week period. Of course, he also does small work: from coin size to full-body pieces, Mo has you covered. His aftercare service was also great, providing me with explanations and cream to take care of my newly inked skin. Even years later, the color and quality of his tattoo hasn't faded a bit and with proper care has managed to still look brand new.
Whether you have something in mind or would like for something to be custom drawn for you, you’ll be happy as Mo works with you to make your tattoo dreams a reality. His prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of his work. I highly recommend his work to anyone wanting to get inked in Japan—first timer or not. Just remember, for larger pieces, you’ll need adequate time to finish the piece.
Mo Tattoo supports Japanese only, so you might need a translator to help you call or email to make an appointment; but Mo Tattoo also accepts walk ins for small tattoos. Mo can also use a picture of what you would like tattooed, or select from his gallery or the many tattoo sketches that adorn the walls of his studio. No matter what you choose though, you'll fall in love with your piece of art from Mo Tattoo.
