From May 24th until May 30th, Tokyo's Gekkoso Painting Room will host an exhibition of works by the artist and illustrator Dekorin (1987-). Born in Toyama, many of her works have been included as illustrations in children's picture books - she's also a mother of three children.
One of the unique things about Dekorin's work is that she incorporates pressed flowers into her pieces, which she collects herself. They're vacuum bonded using a special technique, ensuring that every illustration is truly one of a kind.
The works at the exhibition will also be listed for sale on Dekorin's website here from May 24th.
