Shake Shack Shibuya

Shake Shack launched its 14th Japan store in Shibuya in May 2024, nestled amidst the vibrant energy of one of Tokyo's most iconic neighborhoods.

Having arrived in on these shores back in 2016 at their acclaimed Gaienmae store, Shake Shack is hoping to repeat its success in one of the capital's trendiest shopping and entertainment districts.

Known for their 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, fresh-made frozen custard and crinkle-cut fries, Shake Shack is hoping once again to bring its familiar and much-loved classics like the ShackBurger, SmokeShack and the Shroom Burger to the Shibuya masses.

To help give the new store a unique look that will appeal to a range of communities to gather here, Shake Shack have also enlisted pixel artist m7kenji to produce an 18-metre wide interior mural that perfectly captures the eclectic buzz of a district known for its pop culture influences.
