The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

Experience Tokyo In Style

If you're making a trip to Tokyo, whether for business or for pleasure, you go expecting an experience. You want to experience the sights and sounds, the flavors and scents, and the general sense of unique Japanese life and culture that one can only find in Tokyo. The Prince Park Tower Tokyo understands this, and has made it their goal not only to help you enjoy your stay, but to make that stay part of the experience from the second you enter the building.

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo has one of the best spots in Tokyo. Located in the Minato ward, the hotel is in the heart of the city with easy access to the subway or train system. Shibakoen and Akebanebashi stations are only about a three minute walk from the hotel entrance, while Hamamatsucho Station on Tokyo's famous Yamanote Line is only a 10-15 minute walk away. Of course, if you don't feel like walking around, a shuttle bus is also available for transportation from Hamamatsucho Station!

The hotel is also especially close to both Zojoji Temple and the world famous Tokyo Tower. Zojoji is one of Japan's most well known temples, and is filled with beautiful architecture and lovely landscaping (especially during Spring and Fall), and is literally next door to the hotel. The Tokyo Tower is viewable from many of the rooms at the hotel, but even if you can't see it from your room, just a few minutes walk will have you at the foot of it.

If you've had a long day in meetings or are simply worn out from travel, you can enjoy many Japanese experiences within the hotel itself. One such experience is the Japanese onsen. An onsen is basically a natural hot spring bath. These baths are famous all over Japan and The Prince Park Tower Tokyo's onsen is surely one of the best in the area. Guests who stay at the hotel may use all facilities (pool, onsen, sauna, and gym) for JPY 4120. The bath is actually housed in the spa area, which includes a host of other amenities. Private lockers, massage recliners, showers and more are all available outside the onsen itself. Inside the onsen, visitors can enjoy not only a large, well-designed bath but even a big screen television built into the wall! I've personally been to several onsens, but this was the first time I've ever seen a TV along with the onsen.

Feeling hungry after the hot spring? Not a problem! The hotel also offers a number of delicious restaurants with a variety of menus. There is both a sushi and tempura restaurant as well as those specializing in Chinese cooking and even steak. The 33rd floor boasts the Sky Lounge, which also offers beautiful views of Tokyo and a lovely environment in which to relax and enjoy.

For visitors staying on the Premium Floor, the Club Lounge is available. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of Tokyo while you relax and enjoy some snacks and beverages. In the morning the lounge offers a buffet style breakfast with both Western and Japanese items on the menu.

While all the extras definitely help make the experience, obviously your room is where you'll spend most of your time, so you want it to be relaxing and comfortable. That is certainly the case at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. The rooms are clean and everything is well designed, from the beds to the bathrooms. During my stay, I was able to enjoy the Superior Comfort Room on the 21st floor, and found it to be superb not just as a whole but even down to smaller details you might not always think about. Things like the ease of use of the television or the inscription of the hotel logo on the towel might seem small, but they had up to a fuller experience that is what you expect when visiting a city like Tokyo.

There's a lot more I could say about this hotel, but in a nutshell, it's certainly one of best places to stay in Tokyo. Service, comfort, style - in every way The Prince Park Tower Tokyo meets and exceeds expectations. More than just giving you a place to stay while visiting, it will become a part of the experience, enhancing everything you do and allowing you to more fully enjoy the beauty and culture of Japan.
