You may already be well aware of LINE Friends, the series of characters used in the LINE messaging app. Another popular series of characters are WDZY, a collaborative effort between LINE and the Korean girl group Itzy. The members of Itzy – Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna – each created their own unique character for a range of LINE stickers and merchandise.
The adorable characters include Hatt, Lya, Tuk, Chung-ee, and Cabbit, and a limited-time pop-up café event in Shinjuku will include WDZY themed main dishes, desserts, and drinks for fans to enjoy.
The main dish options include a rose cream pasta, a Korean-style ham and cheese sandwich, and a salad featuring gochujang (a Korean red chili paste) and namul (seasoned plants and leaves commonly used in Korean cooking). For the sweet-toothed visitors there are five different desserts on offer, with each one corresponding to one of the WDZY characters.

Even the drinks are ultra-photogenic, with character-topped lattes and sodas to wash your meal down with.

Along with the variety of main dishes, desserts, and drinks on offer, there will be WDZY merchandise available to purchase, including items like key chains, tote bags, and badges.
