Chidorigafuchi is a delight, with the floating petals.

Two spots in the Tokyo area that I love are Tokiwadaira avenue of cherry trees and the festival procession in Matsudo City and Shimizu Park in Noda City. They’re a little less crowded with people but everywhere you look, pink and white.

Tone Unga is another gorgeous view of cherry blossoms. I also adore Akebonoyama Park in Kashiwa City, very near the Tone River. The trees are very old and overlook the park's flower gardens.
