Afternoon teas and buffets featuring this popular fruit

Japan is big on seasonal eating, especially when it comes to fresh produce. If you're a strawberry fan, the best time to pick them here is usually from the January to March timeframe, and a number of strawberry-themed events also take place for fruit lovers to enjoy.

This guide covers some of the strawberry high tea events you can enjoy during the 2021/2022 season.

Kim, was wondering why strawberries in Japan are seedless?
Kim Bergström Author 3 years ago
I don't think I've ever encountered seedless ones! Maybe someone here knows the answer to that question, though!

Great options! I love strawberries, but not sure I can eat too many.

They're delicious, and Japanese strawberries are probably the best ones I've tried...but they are quite expensive!
