Apart from its excellent location, Kyoto Royal Hotel & Spa also offers many wonderful amenities. Each room is light and clean with a high level of comfort, including free Wi-Fi and BBC news. The hotel itself has an excellent restaurant, Pranda, which serves Spanish dishes amongst many others. For a cozy and social atmosphere, take a visit to 'Haven', the hotel's library lounge and bar done in an authentic English style. Each day you are provided with large selection of delicious foods catered to many cultures, from fish, vegetables and soup to waffles, pancakes, and bacon to name just a few. The staff are very friendly, and mostly speak a good level of English. They are happy to help you with maps, information about bus routes, and valuable local insights. I was very impressed with their customer service.
In addition to the hotels perfect location, excellent amenities, and overall sophistication, there is also a spa. Of all the wonderful aspects of this hotel, the location and comfort stand out as the best I have experienced.
