The bus will operate daily from Sunday, April 13th 2025 until Monday, October 13th, 2025 (inclusive of national holidays) —this covers the full duration of the Expo. The one-way travel time is approximately 85 minutes, with no transfers required. The route will operate one round trip on weekdays, and two round trips on weekends and holidays.

The bus departs from Kyoto Station's Hachijo Exit, traveling along the Kyotonabe Expressway to the Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1, near the Osaka-Kansai Expo site.
