The name Haruki literally means "spring tree", being on the Nankai or south sea railway from Osaka to Wakayama and Kansai International Airport. Facing the warm Pacific current, it may be one of the first places in Osaka to see cherry blossoms. There are express trains that take you from Haruki station to either Osaka Namba or the Airport, being 20 minutes in either direction. Kispa La Park nearby is an entertainment and shopping complex – being a great place to buy some bento and sake before your hanami picnic, or for some duty free cosmetics or accessories before heading to Kansai International Airport. Kispa La Park also has a bowling alley, children’s play center and some of the cheapest karaoke and lunch options in Japan.

Cherry blossoms on a clear day at Haruki
The flowers are a contrast against the aging yet functional structure of Nankai Haruki station
The Rapi:t service about to come into Haruki station
Rapi:t airport limited express comes roaring pass
In a blink, the train passes the station
Kispa La Park is an entertainment and shopping complex next to Haruki station - great place to buy some bento and sake before your hanami picnic, or for some duty free cosmetics before heading to Kansai International Airport.
Star Wars is taking over Japan, Haruki included.
Some people really get into the party spirit during the cherry blossom or hanami season. Why not go all out and wear some cosplay as well with Ultraman at Kispa La Park's Entertainment and shopping complex?

As expected that Hanami can be seen everywhere not only in the park
The contrast between the cherry blossoms and the train station makes for a great photo. Haruki is close to Kansai airport too, making it easy to access.
